As soon as a registered site user logs-in extra menu items, etc, appear on his/her screen. Perhaps the most useful of these is the Recent Items box that appears on the LHS just above the News-Items box.

The Recent Items box gives a list (most recent items first) of "all" the recent changes (not just news items) to the site. Regular visitors can then quickly identify items added since their last visit.

Once the content editor (Kupu) is enabled, registered site users may publish their own news-items and other documents without needing any special technical skills. The process of enabling the content editor is very straightforward.

At the discretion of the author, news-items and other public documents may be designated Open for Discussion. Such items will display a link marked Comment at the end of the text. Clicking on the comment link launches Kupu and allows the site-user to type his comment in. The rest is automatic.
