Newport Table Tennis League

Firstly, the Newport League is hoping to move all its matches into a central venue ... the Newport Velodrome. The Velodrome is an excellent venue with good lights and up to 10 tables available.

Secondly, they plan to switch both divisions over to two players per team instead of three. This will result in an increased number of teams / matches, although (hopefully) those matches will finish earlier.

In this new format each player will play two singles and one doubles ... these being, in each case, the best of seven games up to eleven points.

The organisers would be pleased to welcome any new and/or returning players who might like to play in this central-venue league in the 2005/6 season.
