Pre-season 2009

.. for the Cardiff League at the Fairwater Conservative Club on Monday 14th September commencing at 7.30pm and try to come. This meeting can be considered to be one of our most important meetings because it decides (in addition to other issues) which teams should should play in our divisions next season.  I have attached a summary of the 39 teams that have applied to play in our league next season.  It would be helpful if you printed the attachment and brought it to the meeting with you so that you will be able to see the names of the players in the teams that we are discussing.

We will also elect members to serve on our Management Committee to manage our affairs between General Meetings.  Please consider who should be elected to serve on that Committee.

It would be good if at least one representative from each team could meet with us next Monday.

I have also attached a "Player and team registration form" that will be issued to clubs/teams on Monday for completion and return with the fees on Monday 21st September when secretary's collect the printed fixture lists. (You will see that teams that play their home matches at WIS will be expected to contribute to paying the cost of hiring WIS and our meeting on 14th will need to decide how much each team should contribute.)
